Classy Roars, Potroast Scores

I just mention how well classyploppy is playing yesterday morning, then he places 7th in the 7:40pm $100 on UB and WINS the 11pm $100! He's pushed his lead to over 80 points on the second ranked player, bottsky.

I finished 3rd in the 7:40pm $100 so I got to play with classy a bit. He was mostly quiet on the final table but I think that's because there were some monster hands that hit everyone else.

It was an interesting tournament for me and, as always, is a bit of a blur. With about 30 players to go (top 20 paid), I finally started to chip up after folding for hours it seemed, and went on a nice rush. I built up to be chip leader with 20 to go, about the same as Potroast00, with 35k or so. This happened with three wins in a row then we went on break. Back from break I'm in the big blind and get KK. A good player was a bit feed up with my run, I think. He raises from the button, I reraise, he reraises (!) and I just call. Flop is low rags. He's all-in, I call, and he flips 99. The kings hold and all of the sudden I'm almost at 60k.

Things go well but then right before the final table I lose a race and lose a few hands and I go into the final table 6th out of 10. The final table starts great when I flop trip queens in the big blind then win the next few to become chip leader. The final table included joooooos, who had been chip leader at one point and was very aggressive, classypoppy, our ExtremeTilt Leader, and potroast00, who is very strong.

Somewhere in the middle of the final table, potroast goes on a monster run. He showed some huge hands (and stole a few) and next thing you know, he's not only the chip leader but the dominant chip leader. He's putting extreme pressure on the table, raising every other hand. He played it very well I thought. He was too my right and just when I was ready to repop him all-in with any two cards, he would not raise my blind! He just read it right on how much of a beating we could take.

Potroast also had a very funny line I thought. I won some very huge hand where I made a tough call preflop and it pushed me back to second in chips. Right then my computer froze and I wanted to play the hand because I had some suited ace. As I frantically launch task manager to close my frozen Outlook, I time out. I apologize to the table when I come back and Potroast types: "Stop dancing and play." LOL. It was perfect because I felt like dancing after that huge win.

Soon after I get QQ in middle position. Joooooooos raise 4 times the big blind (about 10k) and I call, then the big blind goes all-in and Jooooooos calls. I had them both covered by a bit but I very reluctantly folded. I guess that's an easy fold for some people but I struggled with it. They both flip AA! I'm glad a queen didn't fall.

We finally get down three handed with Potroast and a player named majdasad. Potroast had a huge chip lead, maybe 4 to 1 and he is relentless. Maj definitely tangles more with Potroast than I do but the three way fight goes on for a long time. I finally miss on several hands and go all-in with 99 and Maj calls with A6. An ace flops and I'm out third. I missed what happened then but the next thing I know Maj wins it all in a few hands (unless maybe they chopped). Nice job to both.

Congrats to P0ker H0 who won his entry into UB's Aruba tournament yesterday. Also congrats to BCSmut33 who won PocketFives very difficult Triple Crown. Well done SmutLord!

Very nice multi for you mindwise - I saw a great deal of courage from you that I haven't always seen in the past. It's a shame I donked out in 14th - I would've enjoyed mixing it up with you guys at the FT.
