PokerXFactor.com, Poker Lingo, Crazy Hand

PokerXFactor Update: If you haven't signed up for PokerXFactor (it's free), then you might want to. When we launch our subscription service, we're going to do something for the players who signed up during this long Phase 1 period. Phase 2 is coming with some cool stuff.

PokerXFactor Registration

There was some interest in PokerXFactor over at PocketFives because Sheets posted a full hand history where he won a $500 SNG in an unbelievable 37 hands. Normally they run 130 to 180 hands. Just sick, I don't care how good his cards were. Someone asked me to turn the whole thing into a PokerXFactor flash movie so with Sheets permission I did. Now a lot of people are asking for this function (to display multiple hands instead of just one at a time) and we're looking into it now. It's already in our "developer's version" of the software. More to come.

Poker Lingo: About two months ago someone there was a rash of "pwns" being typed in poker chat windows around the world. It means "Owned" ... apparently someone simply mistyped and it came out "pwns" and somehow that gets copied.

About a month ago (it was probably around longer), I saw that top pros, when they get sucked out on, type: obv.

I assume this means "obvious".

Last night in Ecrew (congrats Rock!), apparently krumster had a few suck outs and tranq swears he's going to type GL KRUM everytime he goes all-in because it's a guaranteed win. I'll try that too. ;-)

What other new poker lingo chat is out there?

Crazy Hand: Rats I don't have the hand history, otherwise I'd put this into the PokerXFactor hand viewer. In ecrew, I'm pretty low at 1300 chips in earlish position. KrazyKanuck is under the gun and goes all-in for a big stack of chips. Now, I have a "what the heck" moment -- I know he has AA but convince myself that he "might" have AK (SUREEEEE he does) and call. Then Rhonda calls! Then Pkrplyr, who has more chips than all of us by a bit goes into the tank. He finally calls.

KK flips AA. I have JJ. Rhonda flips KK. Pkrplyr turns AK. So basically Pkrplyr and I both have "what the heck" moments -- we know we're way behind but did it anyway!

The flop is a beautiful J 4 10! Zoink. Bada Bink. I have trips.

Turn. Q. AK hits his straight and it's over. Suck, suck, resuck, sucked. Ahhh.

And the one time I didn't offer up a "gl krum" to the poker gods...BAM! Rock suckouts on ME! and i slip away in 5th place.

And btw, "gl krum" is copyrighted, trademarked, and karma-protected. Use at your own risk.

yea the reason why Pkrplyr had more chips then everybody else because of that great play when he called my raise with 78 off against my KK and floped a open ended straight and chased that for 2600 more chips that i put in, and catches it on the turn to take me out when i was top 3 all night......ok i am through whining now good game rock...and happy anniversery ECREW !!!!!!!

most of the short sayings you see in online poker come from chat in online games like Starcraft, Counterstrike, Warcraft etc.

pwns means the same thing as owns. it is short for pawned.
