WSOP, Bax, TTTTTTT, PXF
I had a nice little run in the WSOP Satellite on UB last night, but finished 15th out of 163 players. I felt like I was playing very well but went card dead with about 30 to go. During the last run I only folded one hand reluctantly, AJ off when there was a raise and a re-raise in front of me. The only reason I mention it is because it was the last hand I had ... lots of 23 off for some reason. It was an aggressive table so there were no steals to be seen. I finally went out when I broke "rule #2" (for those who don't know what that is, essentially, you can never raise AngryClec preflop when he is likely to call because he will ALWAYS outdraw you). Unfortunately, blinds were one spot away and I had to go all-in with 88 vs Angry's J10 off and he hits a straight.
Angry had a great run. I was watching him on and off and in a blink of an eye he went from $8k to $45k or something crazy like that. Unfortunately he actually went card dead and finished 3rd on the final table (top two paid the WSOP seat and other spots paid pretty good cash). Nicely done.
JohnnyBax is doing well in the Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the Bellagio. There are 121 players left and the top 100 pays as he heads into day 3. Go Bax! See coverage at Cardplayer.com or PokerWire.com starting at 3pm ET.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTT has moved up to 8th on our overall Extreme Tilt $100+ Leader Board. He's now behind the overall leader, Double Lucky, by less than 300 points. Oh the pressure. GL man.
