Winning is Gooood ... Combining Accounts Closed

It was nice to win the little $30 8am tournament this morning. I bubbled it yesterday. I also cashed in the 8pm $40 last night, finishing 14th out of 252. I went out when the big stack Anniebets just HAD to call me with AK (against my 55) and of course she sucked out. Can't these people fold anything? ;-) Annie finished third ... nice job!

I was knocked out of the WSOP tournament near the end of the first hour when my KK was no match for 9 10 sooooted. He called good sized raises preflop and flop, then hit a straight on the turn. I put him on top pair (Q) and it was over.

Okay I don't want this to be the JohnnyBax blog particularly, but I was railing him and sheets in the afternoon $100 on UB and watched as they crushed (both cashed). One thing interesting about these guys is they rebound so fast after being knocked down. Bax, for example, was down to 700 chips at one point. I find I really have to grind it out when I'm a low stack, while these guys just build it back.

Bax continues to score big -- yesterday he won the PocketFives "Triple Crown" with top 5 finishes in three $10,000 Guaranteed tournaments in a 24 hour period. He finished the UB $100 in second place after taking serveral sick beats. So he's closed the gap in the Extreme Tilt Player of the Year Race.
