Oh Variance ... Cool PXF Hands
I'm in a painful run of bad beats that's run maybe 3 days. All the crazy stuff we all get. For me it's two key beats: Big pair losing to smaller pair that hits a set and a dominating AK losing to AQ or even Ace rag.
The killer really is AA losing to 10 10 or any smaller pair. I can honestly go days without hitting trips and yet when I get it all-in preflop, the other guy has hit trips on me 4 times now to take me out or cripple me.
I've definitely grown as a poker player because these beats have not changed my play and except for a little steaming, I'm over it and for now I know it will even out. ;-)
Some real interesting hands are being posted at PokerXFactor (I can only hope they are real -- I assume people wouldn't waste time posting fake hands).
Please feel to post these hands, email them to your friends, and post links at others sites.
Our hand list page now has "sorting" so you can see all hands sorted by player, rating, date, and number of comments. Check it out:

Here are a few of interesting ones:
1 Outer
Great Play by opponent
The second hand was posted by TTTTTTTTTTTTT, who is playing great poker and should later today (when I update the board) move into the top 20 of the Extreme Tilt Leader Board. And he only started playing at UB in September! Last night he took second in the $100 (I went out AK vs AQ). Right after I went out, TTTTT moved up from 4k to 11k in chips. Then later as I was going to bed, he was down to 3k. But even so, I wasn't surprised he made a comeback and took second. Well done! Of course, the hand he posted is about a great play -- by his opponent. Nice.
Good luck this weekend all!
